The Convenience Shop marked another milestone in its Corporate Social Responsibilty calendar with the official opening of its latest outlet in aid of Puttinu Cares Children’s Cancer Support Group.
All generated profit will go towards the maintenance of the present 15 Puttinu apartments in London which mainly include insurance, local taxes, utility bills, internet services and a Maltese telephone line in each apartment costing circa €250,000 a year.
This new concept ties in well with other ongoing initiatives which amongst others include the Groups’ support to Caritas, The Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation and The Malta National Blood Transfusion Centre.
The outlet was inaugurated by H.E. Marie Louise Coleiro Preca on Saturday 30th February 2019
